  • Additional Product Information

As part of the bicentenary celebrations of the birth of Robert Burns the Scottish daily newspaper - The Scotsman - held a poetry competition limiting the poem to 50 lines but no subject restrictions. This book is a selection of just some of the poems. Among the poets are George Mackay Brown, Norman MacCaig, William M. MacIntyre and Jean Watt. There is a short biographical notes section at the back.

  • Condition Notes

A fine edition - there is a slight tear to the dustcover at the top back and a few very minor light stains but otherwise the book remains in excellent condition throughout. The book is published using Priory white antique laid paper made by Spicers Ltd.
