A silver mounted whisky noggin. A hallmarked (Birmingham 1916 -the hallmarks are clear on both the rim and the lid) - silver hinged lid with the glass base in the classic star burst design. There are the makers marks H.B and then indistinct but probably attributable to Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd.

Traditionally is considered of Scottish origin and "go to bed" is its usual definition.
The vessel is known also with the Anglo-Indian term of "Chota peg".Condition Notes
