A Victorian silver and agate with cut citrine stone center
A magnificent, oversize Scottish silver, agate and a cut smokey quartz brooch,. The circular cut quartz set in silver is bordered by various specimen agates also set in silver. Dated c.1860-1880.
With its original pin and a sturdy C clasp, this heavy brooch also has a jump ring so it could be worn on a chain while pinned in place. The pin is metal for strength so it can withstand heavy fabrics.

This is a gorgeous example of a Scottish agate brooch in the shape of a flower head.
There is no hallmarking which was not an unusual for jewellery of the Victorian period.

This brooch is in excellent condition.
This is a second hand antique jewellery piece and will have some imperfections. Antique jewellery was primarily hand crafted(modern jewellery is more often than not cast made). They are therefore unique pieces.
