With a copy of Màrtainn MacGilleMhàrtainn'a book " A Description of the Western Islands of Scotland (1703) Hamish Haswell-Smith set out in his forty-one foot Sloop-Jandara-to discover the Scottish Isles from Ailsa Craig to Shetland in the north and finishing at Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth. Along the way he took time to recreate record of watercolours fully illustrated in this book. 

Good quality book - some bumping around the corners and some light fading of the dustcover.
