    This collection contains forty-one poems, as well as a foreword written by the Bard himself - The poems vary from laments and satire dealing with people and his community in Skye.

     

    Calum MacNeacail belonged to Camustianavaig, in the Braes district of Portree  and was born in 1902  better known as the Bard of Sky he was both a crofter and a bard. He died 1978 on his 76th birthday.

    A fine copy with a good clean dustcover with just a very small tear on the top fron edge but otherwise good clean and bright pages throughout.
