Bridge of Allan is a picturesque town in central Scotland, located near Stirling and nestled at the foot of the Ochil Hills. Historically a spa town, it became popular in the 19th century for its mineral springs.
The author tells he story of the town from its Roman times to its establishment as a Spa town in Victorian times and its formation as a Burgh.
