This was a new large type edition of the Spiritual songs and poems of Peter Grant published in 1926.
Peter Grant (1783-1867) born near Grantown-in-Spey, was a Scottish pastor in the Baptist Church and through his evangelical work and songs was admired throughout the Highlands.
Condition Notes
A quite worn edition of this large print version - some staining and fraying of the cover boards and soeme evidence of the book have been stored in a damp lace with the top corner quite stained especially on the title pages. The book has also several burn damage pages 149-155 with some 20% loss of the pages. Given the scarcity of this book iot would normally have a much higher value than the current price.
