Robert Michael Ballantyne, (1825-1892) was born in Edinburgh and wrote more than 100 books mostly from his own experience and was famous for his books on the Canadian frontier.
Condition Notes
This is a very handsome l;ate Victorian edition with magnificet cover boards. There is a little looseness to the binding especially on the front end paper but it remains intact and a good copy. Th Inside pages are bright and clean throughout with just age-related tanning. This book was originally a presentation copy by the Wesleyan Sunday School and dated 1896.
