  • Additional Product Information

William Sydney Graham (1918–1986) was born in Greenock and after working as an Engineer in Glasgow in 1947 he won the Atlantic Award for Literature and became a full time writer and academic travelling widely in the U.S.A.

In the Poetry Book Society Bulletin for Autumn 1977 (a copy accompanies this book) the author writes:

"I am pleased about the physical book. I like the feel of it and its cobalt cover. I even know(I almost know) what goes on inside it. The first poem begins with "What" and the last  poem ends with "you". Twenty-six poems. Twenty-six objects of fairly measured verse."

  • Condition Notes
