  • Additional Product Information

The author Alex Murdoch describes himself as a "working-man" and accepts his "destiny of toil as an honourable and enviable privilege."

About his poetry he writes in his preface: " I have drawn from the rich armoury of facts and daily experiences, such massive and glowing imagery as the factory, the dockyard, the forge and the furnace afford; and I feel proud to think that the fidelity of the pictures will appeal to hundreds of my fellow-workmen on the Clyde and elsewhere."

  • Condition Notes

This handsome wee book is in very good condition  with just some colour fade of the front cover boards and fading of the titles on the spine. There is some slight looseness to the inside pages but this should not detract from the warmth of the poetry inside.
