This limited edition Art book is a collection of 61 engravings of reproductions of portraits of notable people Men & Women from many of Scotland's esteemed tuen of the century Artists; Sir Jame Guthrie, John Lavery, Bessie MacNicol, Sir W. Q, Orchardson and John Pettie to name a few(34 different artists in total)
There is an introductory essay by Percy Bate and a dedication to The Hon. Archibald M'Innes Shaw - Lord Provost of Glasgow.
Condition Notes
Thsi has been a Reading library acquisition and has a library stamp on blank reverse of title page as well as library book number ar the bottom of the spine.
The leather bound spine was a tear and missing piece at the very top of the spine which is unsightly rather than damaging. There is also some light frayoing of the leather at the bottom of the spine.
The inside pages are in very good condition overall with all engravings with a protective paper sheet.
