    Volume I -  A good clean well presented copy which does not appear to have been much used. There are a few random annotations in Chapter 4 - Scottish Gaeldom: The first phase of Clearance and not on any other parts of the book.

     

    Volume II - A good clean well presented copy with some scuffs on the cover but otherwise clean and bright throughout.

     

    Volume II -A good copy with some bumping at the corners and scuffs around the spine. There are pencil annotations on some pages but these can be rubbed out.
