Rambles in Skye with a Sketch of a trip to St Kilda

In the Rambles the author describes his summer break in Skye during 1882. They first appeared in print in the Ayr Observer before being published in bookform.

A scarce, small octavo edition in fine condition.

The  crimson silk cover boards are clean and bright with fin gilt embellsihments  and bevelled edges. The spine is a slightly duller red.

The inside pages are clear and bright. There is a dedication from the author on the inside cover page dated 1889.
