Ramsay's Gleanings of the Gloamin

John Ramsay, born in Kilmarnock, was a carpet-weaver, then victualler and carpet-dealer, whose poems were well-known in Ayrshire and surroundings.

A handsome book in good condition with attractive bevelled-edged cover boards with gilt titles and embellishments. There is some light fraying at the top and bottom of spine and at the corners. Inside the binding is tight with cleaand bright pages throughout with just some light random spotting.
