Alfred Wainwright (1907-1991) is most famous for his books and etchings of the Cumbrian Mountains where he lived and worked for a large part of his life.
In the latter part of his life he produced complete etchings and descriptions of the Scottish Highlands & Islands which were then published during the 1970s in 6 separate volumes.
In this - Volume Five - he covers the wild Cairngorms mountains and high plateau.
Condition Notes
Excellent condition throughout - the dustcover is in very good condition but has suffered some yellowing. The inside pages remain bright and clean throughout.
