    It appears this book was republished annually (first edition probably 1889) and was produced for the wealthy late Victorian tourist as a souvenir of their visit to Scotland.

    A very well preserved copy with blue, red and Gilt cover boards that have some light rubbing and bumping along the edges and at the corners. Inside the binding remains excellent and the pages and thus the imags are bright and clean thropughout.
