  • Additional Product Information

Born in 1926 Donald Cameron grew up in the remote Western highlands on a croft farm named "Blarosnich" - "The Field of Sighing." He writes: "I know of no other stout stone house so buffeted as ours was by the wild winter gales! The book written and published some forty years later explores the authors childhood in these harsh parts of Scotland.

  • Condition Notes

An excellent edition with a cellophane protective sheet over the original dust cover that has meant the book has remained clean and tidy. There is a small amound of fraying of the cover around the top of the spine.

The inside pages remain nright and clean throughout. There is a dedication in ink from a previous owner on the inside front page end.
