  • Additional Product Information

Taken from The Burns Federation annual chronnicle of 1935:

"It is a fact that no one county in Scotland can exclusively claim Robert Burns as its own product. By birth and maternal ancestry he is an Ayrshireman; on account of his eight years' residence in the county he is claimed by Dumfriesshire; in virtue of his paternal ancestry he belongs to Kincardineshire."

And more precisely to the parish of Glenbervie about which George Henderson Kinnear writes about in this book.

  • Condition Notes

This is a good copy of a book that is rarely available. An attractive front cover board with a portrait of Robbie Burns. Inside the pages are clean on age-related tanned paper. There is a previous owner name in ink on the inside end-paper and again in pencil on a spare title page.
