    The overall condition is extremely good for a book of this age

    The leather bound boards have scuff marks on the front, The spine is slightly detached at top left and gilt title markings are faded with just "History" clearly visible.

    The pages are tarnished with age with some staining throughout but all pages clear and ledgible.
